Sleeping in beds does not toggle downfall.

Postby LoggOff » Fri Feb 14, 2014 10:59 am

The bottom line: [ I slept in a bed while it was raining, and it skipped to morning. However, it did not turn off the rain like in singleplayer/on a server without TimeKeeper. ]
How to replicate: [ Sleep in a bed in the rain, and have it skip till day. ]

Not really a bug, just the time keeper pl stops the vanilla feature from working. Unless 1 person is online.

Actually Log, there are times in single player when I sleep in a bed and skip to morning and its still raining. This is because downfall is not connected to the night / day cycle. I've seen it rain for as much as 4 cycles before... sometimes with lightning and thunder cycling in.

Downfall is not related to the day/night cycle, no. But weather is being reset when day/night is by sleeping in a bed. Obviously, it will still take a small time for the weather to clear (it doesn't just "pop" away, like the night->day transition). (Well, that used to be the case anyway. Haven't played that much post 1.6.)
