What is Ironforge?
Ironforge is a futuristic-style city built atop a plateau not too far from spawn that is home to THP and a complex of free-to-use, 100% public farms for the community to use whenever needed.

Where is Ironforge?
The entrance to Ironforge is located at:
X= -530
Z= -200

What do I need to do to use the farms/machines at Ironforge?
While all farms/machines are completely free to use and open to anyone, some farms do require materials or tools in order to operate them effectively. Any materials needed to operate specific farms/machines will be listed below in the details of that specific device.


GateKeeper Projects
GateKeeper Projects are "limited access" facilities due to either their location or high value. GateKeeper Projects feature chest-locked doors to prevent access to those who have proven that they cannot follow simple rules. Initially, GateKeeper projects are open to anyone. Those who do not follow the rules listed below will have their access permanently revoked. If a person breaks the rules and is permanently removed, any members of any organizations they belong to will have their access revoked for 2 weeks. To gain access to GateKeeper Projects simply contact Tautochrone or Jollysaintj (either post below, send a PM or /msg us in game) and access shall be granted.

GateKeeper Rules:
1.) Absolutely no PvPing, even in PvP: On zones. Upon entering any PvP: On zone, all armor and weapons shall be removed. Equipping of any armor/weapons while in a GateKeeper Project will be considered a violation of this rule.
2.) No killing of ANY non-hostile entities. (Villagers, animals, etc.)
3.) Do not open GateKeeper Doors for anyone other than yourself.

Gold Farm
Status: OPEN
Location: Lower Platform of Ironforge City
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: Sword

Double Blaze Rod/Experience Farm
Status: OPEN
Location: Overworld Entrance is located at X: -620, Z: -350
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: None
Notes: An Enderchest, Anvil and Enchanting Table are available for use in repairing/enchanting items.

Villager Trading House
Status: OPEN
Location: Near the Main Entrance, across from the Apartment Building
Materials Needed: Whatever you want to trade to the villagers.
Tools Needed: None

Obsidian Farm
Status: OPEN
Location: 2nd Floor of the Main Hall
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: Diamond Pickaxe and String
Notes: If it breaks, please contact a member of THP immediately!

Sugar Cane Farm
Status: OPEN
Location: Below the Villager Trade House
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: None

Slime Farm
Status: OPEN
Location: Below the Main Hall
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: None


100% Public Farms/Machines

Spider Farm
Status: Under Construction
Location: To Be Announced
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: A sword is recommended, but it's not required
Notes: Nothing too fancy, just a double spider spawner.

Double Stone Generator
Status: OPEN
Location: 2nd Floor of Main Hall
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: Pickaxe (preferably one with Silk Touch)
Note: Iron Pickaxes will be provided free of charge in the near future. It is advised that you provide your own Silk Touch pick so that you produce Smooth Stone instead of Cobblestone.

Tree Farm
Status: OPEN
Location: -500, -230
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: Axe
Notes: Please be courteous and drop saplings into the hopper when you leave so that we can replant trees!

Automatic Watermelon Farm
Status: OPEN
Location: North-East of the Main Hall
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: None

Auto-Fish Farm
Status: OPEN
Location: 2nd Floor of the Main Hall
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: Fishing Pole
Notes: Fishing Poles will be provided free of charge in the near future

Auto-Wheat Machine
Status: Under Construction
Location: To Be Announced
Materials Needed: Bonemeal
Tools Needed: None

Cactus Farm
Status: OPEN
Location: South side of the Main Hall
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: None

Other Facilities

Apartment Building: Free Storage Space
Status: OPEN
Location: Main Entrance/Lower Platform
Notes: Free storage space and living quarters are provided to anyone who wishes to have an extended stay at Ironforge and farm large quantities of items, but cannot transport them all back to their home in one trip. Contact Ubiwubikanubi or any other THP Member to reserve a unit for free!

Vending Machines
Status: Under Construction
Location: Main Entrance
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: None
Notes: Need Tools and Armor? Swing by THP's Vending machines and receive Iron Armor and Iron Tools absolutely FREE!

Ironforge Subway System
Status: Under Construction
Location: X= -300, Z= -275
Materials Needed: None
Tools Needed: None
Notes: Once complete, users will be able to enjoy a free mine cart ride from the edge of spawn into the heart of Ironforge City and other nearby THP-Owned areas just outside of city limits.

I'm really impressed with the amount of effort you guys are putting into this project. I'm going to stop by the blaze spawner tomorrow to get some rods. Great work so far!

Is the double blaze farm joined or 2 seperate farms close to eachother?

Two separate machines/spawners that can either be operated by two people (one person per spawner) or one person running both. It's pretty sweet. They're close enough that one person can trigger both.

Nah. Kept it separate on purpose in case more than one person wanted to farm blazes at the same time.

I'd love to come out and check this stuff out, grab a few stacks of items and such. I'm assuming that tree farm is one of those that you plant the sapling then it extrudes a wall of logs to chop?

I love that this is public too, thanks gents, we should see some really awesome building out of this map when materials can be gathered from areas like this.

I havn't built the tree eater yet MadDog, not looking forward to that if we decide to do it. Not sure where it'd go right now too.

Jay built the Tree Eater Junior...it doesn't auto-crush all of the leaves everytime but it's pretty much just as good.

Is this part of a master plan to deflate the prices in VC :lol: Thanks guys, this will really help noobs starting up and is the closest thing to Pay to Win Minecraft. Bravo! (Don't read this in a sarcastic tone, cause it's not sarcastic.)

Meh, probably not as much as you think. They aren't exactly a huge part of the market, plenty of other blaze farms and spawners out there for people to discover and use.

How exactly is this "pay to win"?

This whole post sounds completely sarcastic...but I can't really tell because one of the major reasons for this is to help noobs starting out on the server.
